# Delete

The **Outbox** in Docufi3d displays all documents that you have sent, drafted, or completed. You can manage documents from this section, including deleting or removing them.

#### 📍 Location

Navigate to:\
**Sidebar → Outbox**

You will see a list of documents along with:

* Document name and thumbnail
* Origin (sender)
* Recipients
* Created date
* Status
* Action icons

#### ❌ How to Delete or Remove a Document

Each document row includes action icons on the right:

**🗑️ Delete Icon**

* **Icon:** Red circle with a cross (❌)
* **Purpose:** Permanently removes the document from your Outbox.

> ⚠️ **Warning:** Deleting a document is irreversible. Ensure it’s no longer needed or was added by mistake.

**✏️ Edit Icon**

* Used to make changes before sending (if in **Draft** or **Ongoing** state).

#### 🧾 Steps to Delete a Document

1. Locate the document in the **Outbox** list.
2. Identify the document status (Draft, Ongoing, or Done).
3. Click the ❌ **Delete icon** in the **Actions** column.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

#### 📝 Notes

* **Drafts and Ongoing documents** can be deleted directly.
* **Done documents** may be archived or downloaded but not always removable depending on platform permissions.
* Deleting a document does **not notify the recipient**.
